To support our expanding operations, we are seeking an experienced Manager for our Module Maintenance team. This role is instrumental in overseeing maintenance activities, managing teams, and ensuring the optimal performance of our solar module manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Position Overview:
The Manager in Module Maintenance will assume a leadership role in managing maintenance functions, leading teams, and implementing advanced maintenance strategies. This position requires an experienced maintenance professional with a strong technical background and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Leadership:
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Module Maintenance department, setting departmental goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective actions, spare parts management, and safety compliance.
2. Team Management:
  • Lead, coach, and mentor maintenance teams, fostering a high-performance culture and skill development.
  • Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
3. Maintenance Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy for all solar module manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Align maintenance plans with production targets, equipment reliability, and efficiency goals.
4. Spare Parts Management:
  • Manage spare parts inventory, optimizing inventory levels and ensuring the availability of critical components.
  • Implement advanced practices for spare parts management, cost control, and vendor relationships.
5. Advanced Maintenance Practices:
  • Implement advanced maintenance practices, such as condition-based monitoring, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance techniques.
  • Drive innovation and technology adoption within the maintenance function.
6. Equipment Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, equipment histories, and performance data.
  • Generate detailed reports on equipment maintenance, downtime, and reliability metrics.
7. Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Lead safety initiatives, conduct safety audits, and promote a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.
8. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades and energy efficiency enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced maintenance and operational strategies.
9. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost control.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements within the maintenance function.
10. Training and Development:
  • Provide advanced technical training and development opportunities for maintenance staff.
  • Stay current with emerging maintenance technologies, industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or certification in maintenance management is highly advantageous.
  • 8-9+ years of extensive experience in equipment maintenance, with a substantial portion of that experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of leading and developing maintenance teams.
  • Expertise in maintenance principles and practices, including advanced troubleshooting, repair techniques, and predictive maintenance.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, mentor and collaborate effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, procedures and industry best practices.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to address maintenance challenges and meet operational demands.
